I'm pretty impressed.
I've got an older photo gallery written around 2000 in PHP, most likely version 4.x.
Several years back it started throwing errors, turned out that some of the code was deprecated and no longer ran under newer versions of PHP.
I gave Claude Code a zip file of the gallery, waited 15 minutes and was prompted to download the updated code. Loaded it on my web site, and it runs perfectly!

Yeah, I've seen and used static thumbnail generators. I'm not sure of
your point here.
