    gland, and in more advanced cases with minimally invasive treatments or surgery.

    Staying physically active, managing weight, limiting alcohol and caffeine, and avoiding
    late-night fluids can noticeably improve symptoms and slow progression.

    I had undergone the Urolift procedure for BPH (enlarged prostate),
    and I loved it. However, a kidney stone became lodged in one of the
    staples, and they had to undo the Urolift, and do a TURP (cut out
    the center of my prostate) instead.

    At least my A1C had dropped to 6.0 this past week, but my weight
    is holding steady. I asked him about the GLP-1 deal, and he said
    that it's so expensive right now, for those on a fixed income, as
    I am...it's not worth worrying about.

    Sorry for the delay in replying...life has been very busy outside
    the BBS.

    I have a telehealth with my Endocrinologist today and I was going to ask for a prescription for Ozempic or whatever. I guess I won't worry about it if it is still too
    expensive. Glad you're back online.
