My wife and I checked out the campground to ensure that it is one we could enjoy doing
things, There are definitely enough things to do there, but it does have some limitations.
We generally like to play chair volleyball,, but the ceilings are too low. Chair volleyball is
played while sitting, but the ball still gets lofted high when playing. We will be able to
play noodle hockey, though. It is also played while sitting, but the beach ball never gets
lofted.
You have chairs lined up in a row, separated by about 2 feet on either side. Each team
uses a short pool noodle to try and force the ball to score in the opponents goal. It's
amazing how involved and excited everyone gets while playing.
The campground does have a nice outdoor pool, a gym and workout room, and a banquet room for our meetings and dinners.
We decided that we will probably not be going to a restaurant one night as we normally
do. The nearest restaurant is probably 20 miles away, as is the nearest donut shop (we
normally do donuts Sunday mornings before we leave to go home).
All in all, we should have a great time. Any local Floridian camper is welcome to join us.
