Sometimes, I wonder what makes us like to do what we do. People like all different things, some people like fashion, or math. What causes each person to have a drive, and to gravitate towards, different topics of interest? Why are we into bbsing? Is it really something that can make a comeback? Or something that can somewhat stabilize, and maintain a die hard crowd. Hopefully we pass it on, and can share with newcomers, so that they can keep it alive.

Nobody answered this from April. So I will.

What presently attracts me to BBSing:

* TW2002, BRE, and some other door games keep me coming back.
* Checking out unique places. Lot of different BBS's out there.
* Interested in the experimentation of Sysops. Futurelaqnd.today certainly stands out.
* Wanting to explore something other than HTTPS and the dying, AI dirr^H^H^H^Hriddled social media scene. Bascially sick of ai^H^Hit all.
* Working on my own tech experiments, and want to see how BBSin'g ^H^H^Hg fits into that.

Anyway, those are my thoughts.
