    Can anyone refresh me on how to create a file with touch to allow me to poll a qwk hub on demand vs a fixed timer?

    touch /sbbs/data/qnet/[hub].now

    As per the wiki.

    alternately, the sysop options for the ; command set (displayed when sysop by ! on the main sbbs menu) provides a call command, like ;call [hub]

    call would be the easier of the two, since wanting a hub poll that instant implies you are already on the board.
