I was able to totally speed up this ol' linux box significantly. I ran this command in terminal sudo sysctl vm.swappiness=10
Then I used zram to adjust the swapiness even more. Zram comes stop with Ubuntu, but it's not doing anything. I updated Zram and edited a config file and saved it. I didn't even have to restart the computer, to see the change. It really did help, it's actually running like they're supposed to.

It's funny how fast that thing is going. I didn't have to restart the computer. As soon as I pressed enter it immediately sped up. Maybe this find will come in handy for other people who read this.
