Hey did you try my speed test script on your local area network and stuff? I want to see the results. It has a built in leader board. It shows everyone's speed.

There isn't really a file, it just sends enough characters to equal 25mb. We can make it different characters and stuff.

yes sir, it's just something I thought of. Like it would be kind of neat if there was a way to test speed between client and bbs. Maybe to help diagnose speed issues, and just for fun. To see what sbbs and a client could send, over terminal connection. So, I made one. I am no java script guru or programmer. Heck I told y'all the other night, I really don't know shit about computers. I come up with an idea and see if I can create something, or make something work. Honestly, that was a script I wrote only for this bbs, to make it have unique things, compared to other boards. Since you asked, I had to say yeah! I will let you use some of my mods, and help you tweak them, so it goes with the theme of your board. I hope you like and enjoy it. It took this dumb ass a few hours of winging' it to make it work. haha

Hell yea! That was fun!
BTW - Jersey Jam BBS is going radio silent for a couple hours starting in a few minutes. Probably the most time will be deleting and opened back up 30 ports in my router for the new BBS IP - it's slow as shit. Takes a few mins just to do one port!
I'm moving the system from my Mac Mini to my Windows Server Standard 2022 and also going from the C drive to a D drive. Hopefully just changing that one SBBS CTRL location of the SBBS.INI file will do the trick.

I'm BACK!!! Woohoo. The migration worked flawlessly! (I think- LOL)
Super tedious re-doing 30 ports on my firewall though.
Hopefully it'll run faster with the new m.2 NVME SSD in the new server. Was running with a SATA SSD on the old Mac mini.
BBS machine is super fast so it should.
