    A wet and windy day across Connemara with persistent rain, heaviest during the morning and early afternoon. Cloudy throughout with patchy light fog in places, particularly in the morning. Moderate to fresh south to southwest winds will be strong to near gale force at times, especially in exposed coastal areas. Temperatures struggling to reach 7 to 9 degrees, feeling much colder in the wind with a wind chill near freezing in the morning. Rain will gradually ease to showers during the evening, though remaining cloudy overnight with winds slowly moderating.

    Overall rainfall totals of 10 to 15 mm are expected, with the highest amounts in western and coastal districts. Visibility will be poor at times in rain and fog.
